Timber Trail Heights is situated in the small, quaint town of Parwanoo, 22 miles (35 km) from Chandigarh and 50 miles (80 km) from Shimla. The resort is uniquely perched on the top of a hill and is accessible only by cable car. It is a spectacular, breathtaking ride to reach the resort, with excellent views of the valley. The lawns and terraces of the resort are perfect for a lazy winter afternoon or just to go for a mountain walks in the morning. - A Visa may be required. Determine requirements prior to your visit.
- A government issued PHOTO id is required at check-in.
- Cable car charges are Rs. 395 plus 18% GST per person per ride during check-in and check-out. An additional ride during the stay will cost Rs. 1050 per person for a round trip. There is a swimming pool at the base of the resort. An additional charge applies per person per day for an extra bed. Room heaters are provided in winter, and air conditioning is available in summer.
- In preparation for your upcoming trip check for any vaccine and/or testing requirements, travel restrictions, policies, or mandates related to Covid-19 to and from your destination. Resources available online include, but are not limited to, government, airline, and your host resort’s website.

- Members must pay utility charges 7 days in advance from the check-in date. For inquiries, please contact the resort at reservations@timbertrail.in or +91 9218532341/47. If a cancellation is received 7 days prior to the check-in date, retention charges equivalent to the received amount will be charged. Cancellation charges apply to the entire package cost, including taxes and length of stay.
- Memebers who have confirmed 1 bedroom unit wil be alloted 2 seperate rooms. Inform resort in advance of early or late check-in, as cable car operational only between 0900 hours to 1700 hours. Hot water supply to units from 7am to 11am and 7pm to 9pm only. Toaster provided on request.
- Occupancy limits are strictly enforced: Violations could result in forfeiture of the unit and/or other penalties.
