Considered one of the finest resorts in the state of Texas, it also has a fishing lake, hiking trails, tennis and basketball courts, tubing, a Sports Center Cafe with Internet access, miniature golf, cable TV, and an exercise room.

Canyon Lake is the gorgeous location for The Summit Vacation Resort Tree Top Villas featuring tri-level loft villas that accommodate up to 9 people with 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath, and 2 three-quarter baths, 2 queen-size beds, 1 double bed, 1 twin bed, and 1 queen-size sleeper-sofa. Each villa is air-conditioned with a full kitchen, a dishwasher, and a microwave oven. Unit amenities also include a hot tub, a telephone, a kitchen, air conditioning, a fireplace, carpeting, and a washer/dryer.

The nearest major airport is in San Antonio, 35 miles away. From the airport take Hwy 281 North to SR 46 East. Turn left on 3159 and follow to 2673. Turn right on 2673. Follow to River Road and turn right. Resort is located 1 1/2 miles down River Road.
