The charming hamlet of Melfort Village near Oban in Scotland, is made up of picturesque cottages amidst dazzling scenery on the west coast of Scotland. The 32 cottages are nestled in the hills and woods at the head of Loch Melfort. You can choose from one-, two- or three-bedroom units, all with large rooms and spacious living areas. On-site there is an indoor pool, gym, wellbeing room and games room, and outdoors you will find a tennis court, putting green and playground.

Melfort Village offers charming cottages furnished in comfortable country-house style. They boast fully-equipped 'farmhouse'kitchens, welcoming beds made up for your arrival and a full complement of large, fluffy towels. The cottages have the original features of the Victorian farm buildings, but the furnishings and decor are in modern farmhouse style. Electric heating is supplemented by open fires or wood-burning stoves. Each has a garden area outside. There is modern entertainment and Freeview TV, too, with spacious living areas, dining areas and multi-level layouts.

BY AIR: Fly to Glasgow airport (160km) or Edinburgh airport (210km). BY ROAD: From Carlisle follow signs for Glasgow (A74 or M74) then follow signs for M8, Erskine Bridge . From Glasgow/Erskine Bridge take the A82 to Tarbet, Loch Lomond, A83 to Lochgilphead and then the A816 to Kilmelford. From Edinburgh (131 miles) go via the A84, A85 to Oban and Kilmelford. The resort is situated on the coast road just south of Kilmelford, 1 and a 1/4 of a mile along a single track road posted Melfort.

Reception hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 8:30am-7pm, Sun 10am-5pm. Keys are in a lockbox outside each cottage in case of after-hour check-in.
