Perhaps the winter months are more convenient and although the temperatures are cooler, a warm-weather getaway certainly isn't out of the question. Winter beach trips can be a financially savvy way to have a memorable vacation at a low price. However, if you want to experience winter to the fullest, look into a ski trip at one of our great nation's famous resorts. Hit the slopes during the day for some skiing, snowboarding, or tubing, and relax at the lodge or in a private cabin at night next to a raging fire.
