Overview
Canareef is one of the largest resorts in the Maldives, with a 4.5km coastline, and is the only resort connected to an inhabited island by a bridge. The island features large wetlands, including five lakes and mangroves, is home to various birds and marine life, and is one of the southernmost islands in the Maldives. Mandatory Fees
- Mandatory full-board fee is 90.00 USD, per person, per night, for all units. Only Credit Cards accepted. The fee is per person, per day plus tax until 31st October 2026. Child 2 to 11 yrs is 50% off.
- Mandatory half-board fee is 75.00 USD, per person, per night, for all units. Only Credit Cards accepted. The fee is per person per day with tax till 31st October 2026. Child 2 to 11 yrs gets 50% off.
- Mandatory meal plan fee is 120.00 USD, per person, per night, for all units. Only Credit Cards accepted. The fee is per person per day with tax till Oct 31st, 2026. Children 2 to 11 years old pay 50%.
- Mandatory meal plan fee is 150 USD, per guest, per meal, for all units. Cash or Credit is accepted. New Year's Eve Gala dinner fee per guest, per meal.
- Mandatory meal plan fee is 130 USD, per guest, per meal, for all units. Cash or Credit is accepted. Supplementary Christmas Eve dinner on December 24th is per person and per child.
Resort Fees
- Mandatory service tax fee is 12 USD for all units, per stay. Cash or Credit is accepted. Green Tax (Service Tax) of $12 per day applies to adults and children, ages 2 years and up.
- Boat fee is 80.00 USD for all units, per person. Only Credit Cards accepted. Return transfer by speedboat from Gan Airport (GAN) costs $80 for adults and $40 for children
- Transportation fee is 400.00 USD for all units, per person. Only Credit Cards accepted. Domestic flights & speedboat transfers from Male Airport Cost is $400 for adults & $365 for children

- A government issued photo ID is required at check-in.
- A minimum 4-night stay is required during the Festive dates of December 20 - January 10. No check-ins or check-outs are allowed on December 31 or January 1. Children aged 6-11 pay the children's meal plan fee. Children under age 6 are free. There is an additional Green Tax charge per guest, per night.

- Meal Plan & Seaplane fees MUST be paid at least 15 days before check-in or your reservation will be canceled without a refund. Guests MUST have the same meal plan as what was reserved. Guests must share their flight details, guest names, dates of stay, and Meal Plan selections. Check with the resort for Flight schedules and Transfer details.
- Occupancy limits are strictly enforced: Violations could result in forfeiture of the unit and/or other penalties.

- The AI meal plan includes all three meals, tea/coffee, soft drinks and water, snacks, in-house wine/beer, and select hard liquor. 25% disc on A La Carte, beach dinner, BBQ, and beverages are served from 10am to 11:59pm. Prices are charged at normal fees after hours. 10% disc on all water sports, fruit basket on arrival. Free bike rental is available. Room service and minibar are not included.

All Inclusive Information1
Optional All-Inclusive means you are not required to participate in all-inclusive or pay the associated fees. You will have the option to pay for all-inclusive once you arrive at the resort.
The mandatory all-inclusive program requires a 4-night minimum stay. Child fees apply to children between 2 and 11 years old. Children under 2 are free. The program includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner served at Kilhi Restaurant, with a selection of all-inclusive beverages available during meal hours. There is a 25% discount on a la carte from Meeraa Asian Cuisine restaurant and a 25% discount on beach dinner and BBQ. These all-inclusive fees do not cover the airport speed boat transfer which is charged per person, one time.
