BY AIR: Las Americas Airport Santo Domingo 35km (40 minutes) BY ROAD: From the airport turn right onto the main road, heading towards San Pedro de Marcoris-Boca Chica. After about 7km from Boca Cica keep to the right, for Juan Dolio-Boulevard. Go by Juan Dolio and after 2 km turn left which will take you off the main road following directions for the Boulevard. Go by the Capella Beach Resort and follow the road towards the bend on the right. Pass the Hemingway residence and continue for about 1000mt and you will see the residence on your right. If you do not rent a car you can take a taxi to the resort (40 minutes)

As of July 30th 2020, the country will require all incoming international travelers to present a negative COVID-19 test result dating back no more than 5 days prior to arrival. If a traveler is unable to do so, an onsite test will be conducted by local health officials. In the event that a traveler tests positive for COVID-19 at the airport, he/she will be quarantined in a government center.
