The nearest major airport is Savannah Airport 39 miles away. From the airport, take I-95 North to exit 8 (Beaufort, Hilton Head) until you reach Hwy 278 East. Once you reach Hwy 278, Hilton Head is 15 miles away. *DO NOT USE CROSS ISLAND EXPRESSWAY. Follow Hwy 278 Business Route (William Hilton Pky) from the bridge to the Port Royal Plantation entrance. Turn left at the entrance. Take 2nd left before guard gate following signs to Port Royal Resort (DO NOT GO TO GUARD GATE). Proceed to stop sign, turn right, go thru tunnel and continue to entrance of Port Royal Village. Turn right and go through entrance of Port Royal Village, Royal Dunes Clubhouse will be on your right.
