Resting in the southernmost part of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Fairfield Sapphire Valley occupies 5,700 acres of natural beauty at an elevation of 3,100 feet. The resort has an outdoor pool, a park with a picnic area, an 18-hole PGA golf course, a 9-hole golf course, and eight tennis courts. A health club with an indoor pool and exercise equipment adds to the list of amenities. Hiking, fishing, and canoeing are other popular activities.

Your Wyndham Sapphire Valley vacation home has A/C, TV/VCR, phone, washer & dryer, and a full or partial kitchen. 1BR OCC: Max 4/Pri 4 has a king bed, a sleep sofa, and a partial or full kitchen. 1BR units with a partial kitchen have 14 steps inside the units. 2BR OCC: Max 8/Pri 8 has 2 king beds, 2 sleep sofas, and a full kitchen. Ski season is from late December through March and lifts & slopes are open Friday through Monday. Early check-ins are not allowed. Units are non-smoking. Pets are not allowed. The front desk closes at 6pm, so call in advance to schedule an arrival after 6pm.

From Knoxville: Take I-40 E. to Exit 27, then US 23 S. to Exit 85 (Sylva). Pick up NC 107 S. to Cashiers and go Left on US 64 E. for 3 miles to the resort. From Winston-Salem: I-40 W. to Asheville, then I-26 E. to Asheville Airport Exit 9 (new Exit 40). Take HWY. 280 W. to Brevard, then US 64 W. 25 miles to the resort. From Spartanburg: I-26 W. to Hendersonville Exit 18B, (new Exit 49B) which is HWY. 64 W. 50 miles to the resort. From Atlanta take I-85N. to SC Exit 1 (Hwy. 11). Follow Hwy. 11 to SC 28 W. to Hwy. 107 N. to Cashiers. Take a Right on US 64 E. 3 miles to the resort. From Charlotte: Take I-85S. to US 74 to I-26. Follow directions above from Hendersonville.
