Inhabited for over 40,000 years, Australia – named for the legendary “Terra Australis” or “Southern Land” – is a diverse country, famous for its laid back attitude, unique flora and fauna, and the friendly and welcoming people. Of course, Australia can be a traveler’s favorite because of Sydney and its iconic opera house, but with so many different possible experiences, a visit to Australia is a must for many.

For those looking to stay on dry land, Cairns has plenty to see. Visit Cairns Botanic Gardens or walk along the Esplanade Boardwalk to further explore the city and the coast of Queensland.
