Mazatlán
Mazatlán is located on Mexico's Pacific coast, across from the southernmost tip of the Baja California peninsula and our Baja and Cabo San Lucas resorts. The "Pearl of the Pacific" is home to miles of gorgeous beaches near the historic area of Old Mazatlán and in the "Zona Dorada," the "Golden Zone." Mazatlán has a rich history spanning over 500 years that truly needs to be experienced firsthand.
Start your journey in Old Mazatlán in the Plaza Machado. Experience the culture of this amazing city with all of your senses. Stop in at one of the many cafes or restaurants for a bite of authentic cuisine. Visit the beautifully restored Angela Peralta Theater, originally built in the middle of the 19th century. It is easy to see why Old Mazatlán is a favorite to visit. From there, head out of Plaza Machado and head to the Malecon. This 13 mile long strip is one of the longest seafront walkways in the world, offering breathtaking views along the way. When you're ready for the beach, you have a lot of choices. From Playa Olas Altas to Playa Cerritos, the beaches of Mazatlán are one-of-a-kind and make up one of the longest strips of uninterrupted shoreline in Mexico. Whether you come for the sun and sand or food and the music, Mazatlán will enchant.
