Hilton Head is home to world-renown golf courses, recently being honored as number 10 on Golf Digest’s list of best golf resorts worldwide. The island’s world class courses were designed by legends of the sport such as Robert Trent Jones Sr., and Jack “Golden Bear” Nicklaus. Hilton Head is also host to the RBC Heritage, an annual PGA Tour event. In its 47 years, the RBC Heritage has brought golf icons like Tiger Woods, Arnold Palmer, and Greg Norman to the island.
