Cancun and Cozumel
Located on the northeast coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, Cancún and Cozumel have thousands of years of history and some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. As centers of the ancient Mayan civilization, these two locations offer an outstanding cultural experience. With an average temperature of 80 degrees and over 200 days of sunshine, it’s easy to see why these two wonderful locations are top vacation spots.
Begin your trip to Cancún by taking a stroll on Avenida Kulkulkan, the main street that takes you to the central area of the city. In downtown Cancún, stop in any of the many traditional shops and stores to get a sense of the city and its history. If you’re traveling with a family or a group of friends, spend a day at Discovery Mexico Cozumel Park and enjoy a day at this amusement park. To better understand the area's Mayan roots, check out Museo Maya de Cancún and explore the ancient ruins. When you’re ready to explore the outdoor beauty of Cancún, head over to La Playa Delfines.
Take the bus or ferry to Cozumel to see more of what the Yucatán Peninsula has to offer. For scuba divers and snorkelers, Cozumel has some of the most beautiful sites in the world. The Santa Rosa Wall and the Palancar Reef are two world-class sites that no diver should miss. Back on the mainland, relax on Paradise Beach. The name says it all. Gorgeous weather, crystal clear waters, and plenty of sights to see, make Cancún and Cozumel difficult to leave. To experience more of Mexico, stay in one of our resorts in Cabo San Lucas.
